Dental Insurance and Financing
If you have purchased dental insurance on your own or are fortunate enough to have it through your employer, we will work with you to maximize your benefits for the good of your oral health -- and your wallet. At John White DDS, we are not in-network with any specific plans, but when it comes to dental insurance, that doesn’t mean you will be penalized for using your plan with us. Dental insurance is different than what you may be used to -- keep reading to learn just how it works, and how we will help you make the most out of your investment.
Our Dental Insurance Policy
Dental insurance works sort of like medical insurance, but one significant difference is that you often have more flexibility in choosing who will provide your care. If you have a PPO (preferred provider organization) plan, you can visit whomever you want -- as long as they will work with your plan. Our office is pleased to accept all PPO insurance plans, and will process and file all of your claims to help make sure you get the maximum reimbursement for any services rendered. Dianne at the front desk will be happy to take your insurance information and let you know prior to the initial visit what your plan will cover at the office.
Benefits of Dental Insurance
Dental insurance offers a number of benefits for patients of all ages. Just a few of the most significant are listed below.
- Enjoy significant savings on the treatments you need to enjoy a healthy smile for a lifetime.
- Preventive care is 100% covered, which often makes patients more inclined to engage in these crucial services.
- Necessary restorative treatments are covered from 50% to 80%.
- Kids can receive coverage that helps to prevent tooth decay during their most cavity-prone years.
- Even orthodontics are eligible for some coverage with dental insurance.
Patients who do not have dental insurance but who could still use help paying for dental care can benefit from convenient financing. We are happy to work with CareCredit, a third-party financier. It works like a credit card that you swipe at the time services are rendered, and then make payments on at the previously-determined rate that suits you best. You can use CareCredit for any medical or dental treatment you wish. This option offers low-interest to no-interest financing for interested patients -- take some time to learn more about CareCredit before applying.
